Quilted Christmas Stocking Pattern with four designs! BOOKLET hard copy with FULL size template - stocking sewing quilt pattern

The Sugarplum Stocking pattern makes a nice sized lined stocking with cuff that can hold a hard back book, fat quarter bundles or whatever Santa brings you! This is a physical glossy BOOKLET pattern that includes a full sized stocking template - no need to tape anything together. There are four designs included in the pattern: a basic design that shows off pretty fabric, a patchwork design that can use scraps or a charm pack, a rail fence design, and a striped design. Once you make one, though, you will find it is easy to custom make your own. Finishes approximately 12 x 18 inches.

The front of this stocking is quilted, but the back is not. This reduces bulk in the seams, holds its shape better, and makes the stocking more flexible. Inside is a lining. You can use quilting cotton or flannel for this project. The quilting can be any type you prefer. I've written the pattern with detailed sewing instructions and tips for directional fabric and making several at once. Supplies for this stocking are basic sewing and quilting supplies, fabric, batting, and ribbon for the hanging loop. A walking foot is recommended, but not required.
